Model of Question paper Nature of Questions All questions are multiple choices.
  Number and Names of sections in question paper Paper I:
(General knowledge, quantitative skills, aptitude and intelligence) consists of 50 Multiple Choice Questions. All questions are compulsory. Each question carries 2 marks.
Maximum marks = 100
Negative marking: Deduction of 0.6 marks per wrong answer.


Paper II:

Section A:
10+2 level questions in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics.
50 Multiple Choice Questions. All questions are compulsory. Each question carries 1 mark.
Maximum marks = 50
Negative marking: deduction of 0.3 marks per wrong answer.

Section B:
Graduate level questions: On one of the following:
1. Biotechnology, 2 Botany,. 3. Chemistry, 4. Life sciences,
5. Medical Sciences, 6. Microbiology, 7. Veterinary Sciences, 8. Zoology
50 Multiple Choice Questions. All questions are compulsory. Each question carries 1 mark.
Maximum marks = 50
Negative marking: deduction of 0.3 marks per wrong answer
 

  Passing criteria Candidates having at least 50% marks (Open category) or 40% marks (Reserved category) in the Entrance Test will be considered for inclusion in the merit list.
