The top five students of the M.Sc. class will receive the GN Ramachandran fellowships of Rs.2,000/- each per month. It might also be possible to award scholarships to a few other students. The number and quantum of the scholarships will depend on availability of funds. The initial award of the scholarship/fellowship and its continuance would be based in the decision of an interviewing committee and performance by the candidate in the entrance test/internal assessment tests/semester examination etc.
