The Interdisciplinary School of Health Sciences is one of the first post-graduate departments in the country offering a Programme in Public Health, Health Sciences and Dietetics. The School offers three full time courses for students interested in pursuing exciting careers in the field of health.

-Master of Public Health
-MSc. Health Sciences (which is a course in public health biology)
-MSc Health Sciences (Dietetics)

The courses are highly interdisciplinary and involve extensive community, public sector health facility and hospital based work. Study and training are conducted in both urban and rural settings. In addition to theoretical teaching, there is intensive computer based work. Students of Health Sciences and Dietetics have compulsory training in laboratory methods in health and nutritional sciences which include basic to advanced techniques from the fields of biochemistry and molecular biology.
