The Department of Mathematics offers the following Degree Programmes :

a) M.A (Mathematics) - 2 year course ( 4 semesters)

b) M.Sc. (Mathematics) - 2 year course ( 4 semesters)

c) M.Sc. Tech - 3 year course ( 6 semesters)

comprising of 10 common Mathematics courses in the 1st year and a number of elective courses in the next years. 

Some of the elective courses offered in the 2nd year of M.Sc. / M.A. (Mathematics), M.Sc. Tech. are  :  Integral Transforms, Number Theory, Graph Theory,  Symmetries, Combinatorics, Partial Differential Equations, Mechanics, Representation Theory of Groups, Fourier Analysis on Finite Groups, Differential Geometry, Algebraic Topology, Analysis on Manifolds, Commutative Algebra and many more.
